Why should I hire you instead of another photographer?

For me, you are NOT just another number; like the majority of larger photography companies. I care about each and every one of my couples and families. I truly want to capture the best possibly moments for you.

 

Is my deposit refundable?

 

All deposits are non-refundable. I always work with clients on rescheduling if needed so you don't lose your deposit.

 

 

 

 

Do you have locations you can suggest for my session?

 

I have a list of    locations all around the Chicago suburbs that I can recommend for your session.

 

 

 

Where can I order prints from?

 

I recommend ordering prints, canvases, cards, etc, directly from my online store through your gallery. This will ensure the quality of the photos. If you print elsewhere I cannot guarantee the quality or color.

 

Do you back up our images? How can we ensure that our images won’t be lost?

All images are saved to the cloud and can be requested up to one year after your session. It is the client's responsibility to save their images before their gallery expires.

 

 

Do I get the copyright/ownership of my photos?

Yes, you have the right to reprint images whenever and wherever you want. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of Shannon VanDyke Photography. I do request that you do not edit them in any way and credit when posting on social media. I also am allowed to use your photos on my website and social media.

 

Can I get RAW (Unedited) images?

 

Only edited, final images are delivered. RAW files are not provided, as they do not reflect my completed work.

 

 

 

 

 

What kind of session do you offer?

 

I photography a little bit of everything. Weddings, Engagements, Families, Portraits, Parties, Newborn Lifestyle and more.

 

 

Do you have liability insurance?

 

Yes, I do. I can obtain a COI for your venue within a few business days.

 

 

 

How DO I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

 

All photos are delivered via email. This link will be shareable to make it easy for sharing to family and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

Do you provide video?

 

I do not offer video services, but can recommend some really amazing videographers I've worked with previously.


 

How would you describe your photography style?

 

My style is a vibrant, bright and classic look that's timeless and withstand all the trends. I strive to capture natural interactions and genuine emotions through my lens.

How far do you travel? Do you charge a travel fee?

I travel within 50 miles of Pingree Grove, IL. If your wedding or session location is further than 50 miles, I do charge a travel fee depending on the distance.

 

 

 

How long will it take to receive my gallery?

 

Wedding galleries are delivered with 6-10 weeks. Regular session are between 3-4 weeks. All galleries have a sneak peek sent within 2 week of your session.
